ASPEN MARSHALL
I have loved Jesus my whole life. From the mission fields of Paraguay, Guatemala, and Mexico, I have given my life whole-heartedly in service of our Lord as a full-time missionary. Even though it was my parents’ choice where we lived, it was my choice to serve.
Jesus has brought me on an incredible journey of preparation, training me for service for His kingdom in every situation that I encounter. He taught me to love people and sacrifice my comfort for the good of His kingdom during my years on the field. He pushed my limits by making me move out of my comfort zone and attend school at Auburn University. I learned how to deal with Americans and minister in a culture that was completely foreign to me, showing me what all other missionaries go through as they give up their lives and plunge unto the unknown. Doing my best to follow Jesus in every situation has led to the most difficult and rewarding experiences of my life. |
Mountain Gateway was birthed from the tears and prayers of my family, as the six of us would lie on our faces in the living-room and cry out to the Lord of the Harvest to send workers in to the harvest field.
I now have the distinct honor and privilege to help train those workers, to walk people through the difficult process of giving up their lives in surrender to His call and serve in different cultures as they go into all the world and make disciples of all nations.
I pray that Jesus will give me wisdom, knowledge and understanding as I walk out the path to which He has called me, recruiting, training, placing and pastoring missionaries. May I be faithful to His call, and “May the Lamb that was slain receive the reward of his suffering.”
