BAILEE BOGNER

From the moment I new Jesus was calling me to the nations, my journey hasn't been anything like I might have expected, and it has been more than anything I could have ever imagined. It’s true that leaving behind life as I knew it and choosing Mountain Gateway was scary, but I’ve learned that the things in my life that have been both terrifying and amazing are so often the very things that have set me free to run in a dead sprint towards the destiny Jesus has written for me.
I’ve loved and pursued Jesus all of my life, but the story of how I got to where I am today begins in July of 2013 when I went on a missions trip to Honduras. Everything changed that week. Jesus turned my world right side up. During those few days, the Lord broke my heart for the lost of the nations and set me on fire to see people know Him. I still burn for that today!
I began my training in the Great Commission Academy in April of 2015, spent a year in Nicaragua, and then in 2017 I came on staff as the Operations Assistant and moved back to the United States where I met my wonderful husband Kyle. We live in Missouri where he coaches diving at the University in our town, and I work remotely for Mountain Gateway. Every summer I spend time instructing with Mountain Gateway on our deep wilderness courses, and I still take frequent trips to visit our Mission works in Mexico and Nicaragua.
I'm so blessed to be a part of this ministry. I’m overwhelmed with excitement and vision about the things Jesus has put in my heart about the future. I want to see the Great Commission accomplished in my lifetime, and I truly believe Mountain Gateway has a huge part to play in seeing that come to pass.
