Bro. Pat Schatzline, Sr., Daystar Ministries International
We met Brother Pat and his wife, Deb, in 1999 when we went to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to preach. He had severe complications from eye surgery and had been in bed for 3 weeks. We prayed for him and Jesus healed him. It was the beginning of a lifelong friendship. Brother Pat started in the ministry in 1974. Currently he is on the Board of Beacon University; the Board of ZEGU (Zimbabwe Ezekiel Guti University); Bishop (Elder) at Large with Dr. Ezekiel Guti; the Board of Philip Cameron's ministry, The Orphans Hands; and Founding pastor of Daystar Church, which he started in 1988 and is now pastored by his son, Scott Schatzline. He started Daystar International Ministries in 1998, a network of US churches.
Mike Ewoldt, Pastor of River of Life Church, Hattiesburg, MS
We met Mike and his wife, Kim, in Colorado when he was on staff at New Life Church. His family was in charge of Praise Mountain, the church's prayer and fasting retreat. We went up to Praise Mountain and our van slid in the snow and into a ditch. Mike hopped on the tractor and pulled us out. He's been helping us stay out of ditches ever since. He and his wife, Kim, have pastored River of Life Church, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, since February1994.
Britt Hancock, Mountain Gateway
Britt knew at the age of 12 that he was called to full time ministry, but didn't know what that would look like. Many people thought he should go to Bible school, but the Lord led him to Auburn University. He began to minister to college students there. He taught a School of Prayer, did personal discipleship, and met and married Audrey. After they were married they had their first faith project and built a 24-hour World Prayer Center, run by students. Britt was an intercessor for Freedom Ministries for 5 years, and then the family worked in Mexico with that ministry for 12 years. In 2009, Britt and Audrey started Mountain Gateway in order to train missionaries. Their years on the field have given them the base upon which to train new missionaries. It isn't theory. It's been experienced. Britt also serves as an overseer for ONEchapel, Denver United, and Castle Rock Bible Church.
Ross Parsley, Pastor of ONEchapel, Austin, TX
We met Ross when we moved to Colorado Springs in 1992 to attend New Life Church. He was the worship pastor there for 19 years. Our friendship with him and his wife, Aimee, has deepened over the years. When he moved to Austin, Texas, to plant a church, we partnered with him to forge together Mountain Gateway and One Chapel to more effectively advance the Gospel in the US and around the world. Britt is on Ross' board and they hold each other mutually accountable. Britt and Ross have been known to have singing contests to see who can sing higher.
