"How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!" Romans 10:14,15

Go.
It's a word we must all pay attention to. It's the last thing Jesus told his followers to do, and it applies to all of us who follow Him. We can't hold onto the truth and keep it to ourselves. People must have the chance to hear so they can have the opportunity to respond. Mountain Gateway helps place missionaries and then pastor them to be successful wherever the Lord calls them to go. |
The Field Residency involves students that have completed language school being placed in one of our locations outside of the United States to work as actual missionaries. They will be pastoring, ministering, preaching, teaching, building, discipling, praying for the sick and hurting, and seeing the Gospel proclaimed to those who have never heard the Good News.
They will be full time, active missionaries working under directive supervision from one of our permanent missionaries already in that country. Those senior missionaries will work as instructors and mentors, guiding and training the new missionaries on cultural specifics, safety issues, logistics and all of the details of living and working in a foreign country. Britt and Audrey will work hands on as directors with the decision making process, teaching the missionaries how to respond to numerous situations, so that when their time comes to go out on their own, they will have experience, wisdom, understanding, and context for making their own future decisions.

Currently we have missionaries working in the jungles of Mexico and Nicaragua. We are partnering with a ministry in Kenya, and have invitations to other African countries.
The world is big. There are many countries that need help. Where does God want you to go? |
