2022 IMPACT REPORT

This year, house churches were planted, the sick were healed, and children were rescued. We hosted two Mountain Gateway Mission Trips, hosted three Mountain Gateway Wilderness Intensives, and eight Academy students accepted invitations to continue in their next steps with Mountain Gateway. God is moving in Latin America and lives are being transformed! From house churches to coffee farming, God is in the midst of it all.

MOUNTAIN GATEWAY MISSIONS

MG Mexico: The national leaders are stepping into a new level of spiritual growth and are training up other national leaders. We are seeing them advance the Gospel in their nation. Their efforts have grown the church congregation and we are consistently having between 110 - 200 people at our weekly Sunday service, apart from our weekday house-churches. This is the hope for a nation - when locals begin reaching their own people!

MG Nicaragua: In Nicaragua, we have an active ministry presence in 5 departments, Nicaragua’s equivalent to states. Our national pastor team is diligently discipling those around them, and our river ministry work is growing steadily. These national leaders are meeting regularly on our property. Pastors across all denominations gathered together this fall. They are unifying like never before to bring the hope of Jesus to the nation!

MOUNTAIN GATEWAY TRAINING

Cohort 22 said “yes” to Jesus in the face of adversity and uncertainty. They embraced the process, and the Lord has honored their efforts by producing amazing fruit in each of their lives. We are proud of each one of their commitments. We are so excited to see the future unfold - they’ve answered the call!

MG Academy has seven adults and six children arriving in Dripping Springs, TX, in January 2023. We are filled with excitement over what the Lord will do in them during the next 11 months as they gain the practical and spiritual tools needed to persevere long enough to see God do the extraordinary.

MG Wilderness Intensives led three teams during July and August - the testimonies of transformation are such a blessing.

We are building a 118 x 67 student lodge at our ministry headquarters that Cohort 23 will live in!

MOUNTAIN GATEWAY PRAYER

Since our official launch of Mountain Gateway Prayer in 2020, we have seen exponential growth throughout every aspect of our ministry! Prayer really does matter. 

​Our Prayer Team has grown to 271 members who pray for Mountain Gateway weekly.

VERTICAL BRIDGE WORKS

This year, we rebranded our coffee company to a name that is easier to find and fully represents all that Jesus has tasked our small coffee company with - celebrating people and wonderfully made coffee - from farm to cup. We are still the same people, with the same coffee, but EDG Coffee is now officially Rootline Coffee Co.

On the farm, we’re teaching our farmers that they all play a role, and that we are all important. Though they are not going out like the missionaries, we want them to know that they are working for Christ as they till the land. Each one of them plays a necessary role for the earth to bear fruit. We have coordinated a farm vehicle to transport them from the farm to the city when needed.
