We are sharing old stories in accordance with Isaiah 46:9, which tells us to “Remember the things I have done in the past. For I alone am God! I am God, and there is none like me.”

We are also sharing new stories. Lamentations 3:22-23 says, “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

Today, we are sharing a new story from a believer in Nicaragua.

Sara, the aunt of one of our pastors in Nicaragua, had a derrame cerebral - or brain hemorrhage - that left one side of her body completely paralyzed. The doctors told her that she would never walk again. The pastor and his family began to pray. They prayed for her healing for 6 months, with no response. She stayed paralyzed.

One day, after a dramatic miracle in which Jesus rescued the pastor from men who were trying to kill him, the pastor went back to his aunt's house - full of renewed faith - and prayed yet again.

That day Sara was able to move her foot, then her fingers. Now she is able to walk to her kitchen! She is no longer paralyzed! Jesus is alive!

Stay obedient. Keep moving forward,
Britt and Audrey Hancock

The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor. Matt 11:5
